The Friday afternoon is always fun at Victoria
Institute of NZ, that is because our activity coordinator organizes events according to what the students need or request. Every Friday we either organize an activity or show a movie.

Many of them are outdoor activities. It could be an excursion, a game of football in the Domain, museum visit, playing pool, mini golf, ice skating, a cooking contest, BBQ, fishing and so on.

On selected Fridays, we show a movie on campus. There are great selections, such as new releases, old favorites and some New Zealand movies. We show movies with English subtitles in order that the students can follow the dialogue, and a teacher is present to answer any questions that the students may have and or to explain any details.
